Don’s background includes 42 years of energy industry experience mainly in the petroleum downstream chemicals arena and more than 30 years with Shell Oil Company. He served as President, CRI Catalyst Company, where he managed commercial activities, operational execution and research direction for four catalyst business units. He also served as business manager for the solvents business for Shell Chemicals in the Americas and previously, as strategic planning manager for Shell Chemicals Global Business. Prior to joining TechnipFMC, Don worked for Johnson Matthey where he served as Director, Oil and Gas,CatalystBusiness with responsibility for the gas processing, refining and upstream businesses, which included developing growth opportunities for the process and technology division. He Joined Technip as the VP of Strategy and Alliances where he was responsible for driving growth and acquisitions. Since 2020 he has been Owner and Principal Consultant for Loaves & Fishes Consulting LLC Consulting with Advanced Technology start up companies, Material Science, and Catalyst and Technology Innovation Companies.

Don completed an Executive MBA program at Rice University and has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Management, from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
