FRG Advises on the Sale of Optimum Processing to Savillex, a Thompson Street Capital Partners Portfolio Company

Falls River Group (“FRG”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Optimum Processing, Inc. (“Optimum”) by Savillex, a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners (“TSCP”), a private equity firm based in St. Louis. FRG acted as the exclusive M&A Advisor to Optimum Processing. The transaction highlights FRG’s continued strength and specialization in the life sciences and bioprocessing sectors. The specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1990 as a family-owned business, Optimum Processing is a manufacturer of customized, single-use bioprocessing systems used in a variety of life science applications including cell culturing, vaccine production, and diagnostic testing. Optimum specializes in the design and fabrication of innovative, flexible, and irradiated systems tailored to meet the unique specifications of leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical organizations.

Savillex, known for its high-performance container and containment solutions, provides products to the life sciences, semiconductor, aerospace, and geochemistry markets. The acquisition of Optimum Processing strengthens Savillex’s position as a global leader in fluid handling and containment, expanding its portfolio of rigid and flexible solutions for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and contract manufacturing industries.

Savillex will now offer an expanded product suite that combines Optimum’s single-use system design capabilities with Savillex’s legacy of engineering expertise, precision manufacturing, and global service. The partnership enhances Savillex’s ability to serve customers in the Bay Area innovation hub and around the world.
