• Valley Vet engaged Falls River Group as the exclusive M&A advisor for the transaction. We built a strong narrative around the Company’s omnichannel approach, loyal customer base, strong brand identity and recent investment in leadership to drive the next phase of growth.
Under our advisory, Valley Vet received a variety of competitive offers through a targeted process to both strategic and financial investors. Nearly 80% of the counterparties entered a confidentiality agreement and the Company received fourteen indications of interest at valuations levels in line with our clients’ expectations.
Main Street Capital separated themselves as the front-runner given the strong chemistry with both ownership and leadership along with a highly competitive valuation and favorable speed to close.
